After breakfast, we grabbed the camera gear and headed up to the racetrack. Susan was going to ride the Go-karts!

We snag a spot on the rail and watch them prepare the boat for disembarking passengers into Victoria for the Day.

Getting set up. We were the first ship into Victoria for the 2024 Cruise Season so the local First Nations Tribe(s) do a welcoming ceremony for the first ship. The ships Officers are just coming off to greet the tribal and port leaders.

Then it was off to the theater for wait for your Shore Excursion to be called Roulette.

Finally our number was called and off the ship we went!

 

 

 

 

 

 

We booked the Butchart & Butterfly Gardens Excursion after our Butchart and Tim Hortons Excursion got cancelled on us.

Finally, We arrived at Butchart Gardens!

We were there in April, so there were some flowers but not as many as the height of the spring bloom.

We headed back to the Cruise Terminal. We passed through Downtown Victoria.

 

 

 

 

 

You could have gotten off in Downtown. Then made your way back to the ship on your own.

We then went outside and watched the last people come back to the ship.

 

 

 

Then it was time to depart Victoria. 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Back out to the Pacific we go...

 

Tomorrow we arrive in Vancouver, but not until 10pm or so...
