Found it.

Ecolab detergent 

It is dye, phosphate, and fragrance free.

I agree with you.  It would be nice if Viking provided a "Free and Clear" brand.

It IS free of dye and fragrances. If you smell something it’s not added fragrance, just the smell of the ingredients. Personally I don’t smell anything from it.

Does it have masking agents to reduce the fragrance?

I’m not a chemical engineer, although I may play one on this board.

 

I’m sure Viking has chosen one of the least objectionable institutional detergents available, but you can’t please everyone.

I have never noticed any smell from the detergent, and I’m chemically sensitive. I do notice, however, when offenders bring scented dryer sheets and smell up the dryers.
