Does MSC charge a fee for casino machine charges on my room key?

Correct.  You may want to make sure your CC doesn't change for foreign transactions as the charge will be from msc headquarters, which is not in the US

I specifically asked at a table and they said no. Also at a slot machine there was no indication of a fee

From experience - no. There is no fee. It is not a cash advance.

Just don't leave 100 bucks on a slot machine and walk away, thinking the credits are on your room - because they're not, they're on the machine and you have to cash out.

Never made that mistake again.  Ouch.
