JohnGc Posted July 25 #1 Share Posted July 25 Thought I would have a look at the cost to park at Brisbane domestic for my flight to Melbourne where I pick up my connecting through flight for Singapore & cruise back in November. I was surprised that the Longpark p1/p2 was fully booked for my dates. Park & Fly was available ( not walking distance ) the bus only runs ever 25 minutes for my early flight, later times every 15 minutes, not suitable for us. Park valet is available but have seen some bad reports ie interior lights left on ( just what you need when you return a flat battery, radio channels changed and parked outside not under cover. Andrews shift your cars several times and many reports of minor damage. I have decided to use Portside parking who I have used in the past who truly park under cover and I trust. As they do not shuttle to the airport any more I will overcome this by using a taxi to the airport from portside. Parking early morning ( staff not there until 7am ) I can leave my car keys in the provided box near the office. Of course they will shuttle us from the cruise terminal when we return. Portside said many people that fly out and cruise back are doing the same. Seems like you need to book your parking earlier than I thought.
