Volcano activity update

Here is the latest from the Icelandic weather service on volcanic activity.  For those planning to visit the Blue Lagoo in the enxt month or so  beware that there maybe be some issues.

Today's update says they expect activity in the next 7-10 days.  No statements on how intense it could be.

That is exactly when we are scheduled to visit.  *Sigh*

None of the volcanos in the past few years have affected any tourist visits beyond the Blue Lagoon and the lovely town of Grindavik.  You will still have an amazing vacation.

Yes, this is not a "metric tons of ash into the air" eruption, but a "giant crack in the ground spills lava" type.  Not good for those near the crack, but no effect on anywhere else.
