NCL boarding question

We have never been in this situation before.  If people in our party in our room will not be getting to the port at the same time as us, can we still check in and board or do we need to wait until the entire party is there?

You do not need to wait . . . possibly you might need to wait if some haven't put their credit card info in during on-line check-in, depending maybe on whose card will be used?  I also suspect a minor might not be able to check-in without a parent or other guardian.

You can check in and board the ship. They will check in later and board when they arrive.

Thanks! And yes credit cards will need to be switched around but last boarding they would not do that at the port anyway, had to do it on the ship.
