Suggest ships based on Solariums

My experience has been the complete opposite on Voyaget and Freedom class ships. I spend a lot of time in the Solarium on these ships since they are open above (i.e.no roof). Through out the day you frequently see lots of kids walking thru the Solarium to and from the forward elevators to the main pool area.

That had been my experience also.

The Solarium on Voyager and Freedom classes leave a lot to be desired IMO.  It doesn't really feel like a solarium in my opinion.  Everyone, young and old, that wants to get to the main pool area from the front elevators needs to walk directly through the Solarium.  (See red arrows below).  It really takes away the ability for the area to feel like 18 and over, and also creates a ton of foot traffic.

I've highlighted the Solarium pool and hot tub area in yellow.  The hot tubs are covered, but the pool is pretty much full sun, which some may like.  We prefer shade when it's blazing hot out and the ability to somewhat control the temps like the Oasis and Quantum classes when it's cooler.  Having said that, it's one of very few complaints about the Voyager and Freedom Class ships.  Love almost everything else about them.
