Cruise booked with unnamed quest in

If the cruise is almost paid for and the person that booked it can't go can the unnamed person pay the balance then reimburse the person that booked it?

Could be a cpl issues with it.  If the rate was a discounted rate offered to the person no longer going, Carnival can and has been charging some of the remaining cruisers more money since they didn't qualify for the rate code that the room was booked under.  I've seen more people complain when it is happening to them because they used to do it with no problem.

One of the original people on the reservation has to sail.  So the ‘unnamed’ person has to get their name in there in order to sail.  I don’t think Carnival cares who pays the balance, as long as it is paid.  EM

Possibly. Like the others stated it depends if the cruise was booked on a special offer only available to the person who booked the cruise. It should be fine as long as it is not a resident or casino rate. The original passenger will be a "no show" on embarkation day.

 

You definitely need to complete the information for the 2nd guest by final payment. You can do this on-line in Cruise Manager. 

 

Please be aware that the original passenger has the power to cancel the reservation at any time since they have the booking number and initial form of payment. Make sure it is someone you can trust!
