Sold Out Excursions

We will be in Quebec overnight and we depart at 1:30 pm on the second day.  I usually plan our own tours but decided to be safe to book a Celebrity excursion that morning.  The two we are interested in are sold out.  We will go directly to excursion deck to be added to wait list.  Do you have any experiences with wait listed excursions?

Sometimes they may hold spots for on board bookings, but otherwise if they are fully sold out you may just have to wait for cancelations to open up spots. Hard to predict that, however. If the tour operator has the resources to add a second one to the first, they may do that.  I would suggest keep checking the planner for any changes.
