Celebrity Doubles Points

Hi all, 

Apologize if this has been asked in the past. Can't seem to find the answer. 

I'm used to how Royal's double points work regarding solo sailing and spouse linked to my account also getting points but I'm not sure if Celebrity works the same way. 

If I sail solo on Celebrity, (just a basic inside, ocean view or verandah cabin), I believe I get double points, but will my husband also be given the points as well since we're married and our accounts are linked? Or will he stay at his current point value and I would have more because I went and he did not?

Any help greatly appreciated.

They should match his account to yours but it might take a phone call or two to accomplish that

Just the status level is matched, not the points.  You won't need to do anything unless you jump up a level or your double points don't post.

You will get double points sailing sole.  He will not get the points if he is not sailing.  They will status match. When you get to the next higher Celebrity captains club level, he can match your status. So if you earn 40 points on this solo cruise, when you reach elite at 300 points, your spouse could match to elite even though he only has 260 points.

A lot of misinformation here. When your accounts are linked, the points are matched, not just the status level.
