nomoe Posted August 22 #1 Share Posted August 22 Will be disembarking our ship in Le Havre and going to Paris for a few days. We will each have one large suitcase and small carry-on. Could someone recommend which mode of transportation would be easier traveling with luggage? Thank you!
Bouna Posted August 23 #2 Share Posted August 23 Both solutions are good. The advantage of Flixbus will be the price. There's also a second bus company available in France called Blablacar.
nomoe Posted August 23 Author #3 Share Posted August 23 Thank you. Does anyone know what is the earliest we can disembark?

Without knowing what cruise line, where you have sailed from (if there is any Immigration complexities) etc, hard to give any detailed answers. However, figure you will be able to be off by 7:30, perhaps earlier.
onyx007 Posted August 23 #5 Share Posted August 23 No matter what you book ; you will not be flexible (especially if you go for the cheapest option) - so if you miss the departure, you lost your money and have to book and pay again. So if you are not in a hurry and have nothing planed in Paris on Day 1; opt for a later departure to be sure. Another thought; the train will always run (if the workers union is not on strike) but a Flixbus or BlaBlaCar might only run if they have enough passengers...
