IB2 Posted August 25 #1 Share Posted August 25 (edited) Does anyone know how early, on embarkation day, you can drop bags for the QM2 TA departing Brooklyn? I’m returning to NYC with a hire car that morning, and am thinking that if I can drop my bags off first and then go return the car, it will make getting back to the ship without the car much easier, if there is time. esrs Posted August 25 #2 Share Posted August 25 (edited) I've been told it can be as early as 0930 if the ship has arrived on time. Edited August 25 by esrs Spelling
BklynBoy8 Posted August 25 #3 Share Posted August 25 FAQ section of the Brooklyn Cruise Terminal What time can I arrive? Check-in times are dependent on the vessel's arrival but baggage processing begins no earlier than 9:30 am. 1

Rare 57eric Posted August 25 #5 Share Posted August 25 Have you sailed from Brooklyn before? Traffic at the port can be awful, although there's no way to predict it. I can't see the advantage in having to deal with it twice, especially if your second trip is (I assume) by car.

No, my plan was to return using the NYC ferries, for a costly $4. But I need to dump the bags, keeping the dog, to make that practicable.
