Sky Reef - a great place

On Mariner and stopped at Cozumel today. We took a taxi to Sky Reef based on comments from this forum. From the warm greeting on arrival, to the waiter, the crystal clear water with beautiful snorkeling, the beach massages, and, of course, Cesar’s tequila tasting…everything was great. The food was delicious and the margaritas were hand shaken and not full of overly sweet mixers…tequila and lime with maybe a little agave. 

The water was clear and the fish and sea fans were a sight. 

 

The food (grilled fish tacos, ceviche, chicken fajitas) were all fresh, hot and tasty. 
 

A true indicator…families of locals came for lunch after attending mass down the road. Locals know.

That would depends which pier you dock at.
 

Google says 4 miles from Puerta Maya.

and... how was it entering and exiting the water?  Is there a bit of a "sandy shelf" to deal with?? Can a couple of old folks handle getting out of the water?  It's not pretty when we need assistance!!!

The last couple of steps down the pier can be a little slippery due to algae. Sitting down and lowering worked fine. And I’m sure there will be someone with a helping hand if needed.
