Eagle Beach- mini review

I thought I would pay it forward.  We owned time share for years here.  When we got off the ship we asked the taxi drive to take us to Eagle Beach.  Amsterdam hotel.   Well she was in such a hurry, she dropped us off at the beginning of Eagle Beach. Not near the AH.  She dropped us off at  Coco Loco. We got there at 10:00 and all the lounges were already sold out.  A lot of unhappy folks.  There were two ships in port.  The taxi ride was 15.00 each way  We sat under a tree for about 2.00 hours and waited for lounge chairs to open up.  Finally some opened up. We paid $50.00 for 2 chairs and umbrella. We had not food so I can not vouch for that.  Beach was nice and water was warm.

Thank you.. this is very helpful! A little shocked with the $50 beach chair/umbrella cost though but they know you will either pay or sit on a towel. Was the $15 each way for the taxi for 2 people?
