Will Viking scan my boarding pass from my phone?

Yes, it's a minor question but figured I'd ask!  I completed the "comfort check in" for my upcoming cruise today, and received my boarding pass via email.  Do I actually need to print it out and bring the printed copy with me, or can I just save the PDF on my phone and they can scan it from there?  I can't remember what I did on my previous Viking cruises.

I’ve never needed it.

Just showing up with my passport has been enough so far.  Any early checkin, whatever it is called, has not seemed to make a difference.  Always well done and quick in our experience.

Thank you both!  That's probably why I don't remember what I did--I did nothing with the boarding pass.  🙂

Never been asked either.  Just gave my name and handed over the passport.

YES….that’s what I used.  My photo that I uploaded during the online checkin popped up on the screen.  Looked at passports. Handed us our cruise key card.  Onto the ship, dropped carryon in the cabin, and went to World Cafe to eat. 11am
