SoccerMom#3 Posted June 19, 2004 #1 Share Posted June 19, 2004 We will be on The Pride in a few weeks and need to get from LAX to the Coast Long Beach Hotel and then from the Pride to LAX. Does anyone have a preference for a shuttle service that they would recommend? Prime Time Shuttle and Super Shuttle go from LAX to Long Beach and their prices seem close. Any recommendations? Thanks! HighSeaslover Posted June 20, 2004 #2 Share Posted June 20, 2004 When we sailed from LA. We reserved a strech limo for 2 hours at $55. The drive gave us a tour of LA and then dropped us off at the door for our cruise. It was wonderful!!!! Plus he took us to the liquor store frist so that we could get our liquor for the cruise. John and Cristina Posted June 20, 2004 #4 Share Posted June 20, 2004 Hey SoccerMom#3, We live in Long Beach. The Limo Companies out here are a dime a dozen, and not all very reliable. Don't get me wrong, there are some great ones but none I would depend on to get me to my cruise I have been dancing about for months! Out here Super Shuttle is the way to go. The only problem from LAX is that you have to contact there rep at the curb when you get there because of the laws inside the airport. It works just fine and I believe the cost is about $38 plus $7 per person. You can go to supershuttle.com and check out all of the info. We have used them over 20 times without a problem! SoccerMom#3 Posted June 20, 2004 Author #5 Share Posted June 20, 2004 Thanks everyone. It sounds like Super Shuttle is the way to go. I just contact them at the LA airport, right? Do I need to make reservations with them in advance for them to take us back to LAX after we get off the ship? Elise 7/11 Pride Cruise
jdfloyd Posted June 20, 2004 #6 Share Posted June 20, 2004 Anyone ever use Prime Time Shuttle? ( primetimeshuttle.com ) Looking at their website and supershuttle, prime time is a tad cheaper. pmc7704 Posted June 20, 2004 #7 Share Posted June 20, 2004 I used Primetime Shuttle last month, and had no problems at all. I made a reservation ahead of time, and they were there to pick us up at the airport, and again after the cruise.
