breenw Posted March 31, 2006 #4 Share Posted March 31, 2006 Don't forget that Disney owns Castaway Cay. They have the best private island of all the cruise lines. They are the only one who can actually pull into a dock area at their island instead of tendering passengers.
K&RCurt Posted March 31, 2006 #5 Share Posted March 31, 2006 If you go to this site: http://www.cruisecal.com/dnn/Default.aspx?tabid=27 And search for the private islands listed in wrp96's post for the dates you are interested in you can see which ship's itineraries will stop at the islands. Keep in mind that Labadee isn't a "private island" it's a private beach in Haiti on the Island of Hispaniola, which Haiti and the Dominican Republic share. Shellyjean Posted March 31, 2006 #6 Share Posted March 31, 2006 Big Red Boats (premier cruise line) had a nice private island. I remember it as the best part of my cruise. Perfect day, beautiful beach. . .who has that island now-anyone know? I don't remember the name, and they used to be affiliated with Disney, but . . .Premier just drifted away (The ship I was on eventually sunk!!!!:(
