Southampton to Gatwick (12:35 PM Flight)

Will my friends make their 12:35 flight??:eek: The ship gets in at 7:00 AM. Do we trust Princess transportation or should a car be rented to drive themselves? :confused: Thanks for any help!

Hello Cruznliz,

 

We are arrivng at 9:00 via Cunard, and they told us not to take any flight before 4:00 PM. They told us 2 hours to the airport via train, 1 hour via express coach, plus 2 hours check-in for international (or 1 hour domestic), 2 hours max to disembark and collect luggage - all in all 12:30 sounds very tight. I don't know how close rental car is to port or to airport, but you may have delays both ends picking up/dropping off as well. Did Princess/TA give any advice?

We had a 12 noon flight out of Heathrow ..docked in Dover.

We were off the ship by 6:15am and at the airport at 8:30

 

Customs does not take as long in U.K. it seems
