OliverTheCat Posted April 3, 2006 #1 Share Posted April 3, 2006 I asked this on Bahamas POC board, but got no response. We are going on Sovereign of Seas in mid October, and just wanted to know what to expect weather wise there (being that a hurricane isnt near of course). What are temps like in air and in water and are seas pretty smooth? Does it rain there a lot this time of year when hurricanes arent around? Any help would be great. Just want to make sure we booked this cruise for a good time of year. Its a hold over cruise to begin with until Mariner.
cruisegirl1 Posted April 3, 2006 #2 Share Posted April 3, 2006 Well – no one can predict weather – however – we’ve sailed several times in October (in fact on the Sovereign) and have had no problems. The air temp is pleasant – not too hot and the water temp is not too cold. The seas have been unpredictable for us – our last cruise (January ’06 - on the Legend) we had some of the roughest seas we’ve encountered. We are also sailing the Sovereign in October 06 and the Mariner in January 07 We did the Mariner in January 04 and enjoyed the ship. Of course – she was practically new then.
