Viking River cruise - April 26

The itinerary = Antwerp to Basel

We have done Caribbean and Baltic cruises.....and traveled Europe by plane and train, but this is our first river cruise.

Anyone going??? Anyone done this one or similiar?

Thanks for the CC website for the river cruises! I will check it out!

Always appreciate a little help in 'finding' some of the information on the boards.

And to Bala Girl.....and anyone else, I will post - hopefully many positive comments after our return on May 8.

WE had a delightful time.

Everything went exceptionally well. The boat is very nice and our cabin # 303 was in a perfect location. The crew is very friendly - from servers, to bartenders, to cabin attendants and especially the tour staff.

The passengers were from all over the states and about 20 Brits.....a nice group.

We had pleasant weather - and lots of sunshine for the "middle Rhine."

The tours do keep you busy during the day. We had very good local guides and we did do and see a lot.

The food was just fine - plentiful.

The company has the "system" down........they do a good job.

I would recommend the Viking Cruise Line.
