Veendam, Ryndam, & Statendam Aft

It looks like these three ships (same layout) have no true 'aft' cabins.

Can you tell me if any of the ones at the very rear of the ship actuall have balconies that wrap around towards the aft?

Are there any pictures around? I've done searches for aft balconies and have found, but nothing on these ships.....help?

None of the S-class ships have aft balconies as the Vista's do.

There are aft cabins---some even have windows facing aft. Depending on the deck, there is a public outside deck just steps away.

But there are no aft balcony cabins.

That's what I was afraid of!!!

I just really wanted an aft for Alaska-- Maybe the views from the aft in Alaska aren't as great as I thought......anyone?

(I'm going to spend LOTS of time on that baloncy) Even though I will go on deck to view, I want to wake up and look outside.........are the views that much better?

Alaska is the only place I want to get up and get out early. It is best viewed with lots of space to look around. Pictures never capture how vast the horizon is.

If you're on an S-class ship you want to be out on Navigation Deck, or on the bow, or high on Sun Deck. Don't let anything block your view.

So, consensus-wise for those aft-lovers. How much am I going to miss without an aft balcony in Alaska??

Then, if you think not a lot--is there a 'best' baloncy to get otherwise on those ships?

Thanks!
