brazcons Posted April 12, 2006 #1 Share Posted April 12, 2006 I've seen at least one reference to an onboard credit for Carnival stockholders. I've booked my first Princess cruise for November and have already received an onboard credit (the offer when I booked). I'm a Carnival stockholder. Is there an additional credit I can receive and how do I get it?
donna5 Posted April 12, 2006 #2 Share Posted April 12, 2006 mostly not combinable with other credits including future cruise credit and some special discounted prices.
brazcons Posted April 12, 2006 Author #3 Share Posted April 12, 2006 Well, I figured out how to search the boards and found this post: Carnival Corporation & plc is please to extend the following benefit for stockholders: Onboard credit per stateroom on sailings of 14 days or longer - $250 Onboard credit per stateroom on sailings of 7 to 13 days - $100 Onboard credit per stateroom on sailings of 6 days or less - $50 This benefit is applicable on sailings through July 31, 2006 aboard the brands listed below. negc Posted April 13, 2006 #6 Share Posted April 13, 2006 I'm intrigued by the restrictions that accompany this credit, especially the one which says the credit can't be applied to the automatic tips. I know of no such restrictions with RCI's stockholder credit and wonder what justification Princess has for theirs.:(

Esprit2011 Posted April 13, 2006 #8 Share Posted April 13, 2006 The OBC was given to us in addition to some OBC P&O credited us with for an early booking. If you dont get it added before you cruise it's a hell of a job on board. The "front of house" staff seem to have difficulty with it so enure you take a copy of your share certificate with you.
