Bora Bora Car Rental

Can someone recommend a car rental agency for Bora Bora? Arriving on the TP. Which location for pick up?

When you tender in, go to the right hand side and walk up to the street. Just across the street is either Avis or Europacar, I can't remember which. I had reserved over the internet. It is just a little booth but the car was fine.

Rental agency described above had lots of cars in last month where we got one without reservation. Lots of potholes in roads but quite navigable.

:confused: I have read that those arriving by cruise ship tender to Vaitape quay. Is this correct? We will be arriving on the TP.

 

The other pier mentioned is Fare Piti quay ( 3 km from Vaitape ) so I am assuming this is not the location I want to rent from.

 

Can anyone tell me which location is the best?
