faithwins Posted April 26, 2006 #1 Share Posted April 26, 2006 Just looked at the picture for the Balconys of Freedom. Have you seen the width of them!! huge, you could tango on them!... Well I know this pic is of an Owners suite but the width is still the same. God bless http://people.freenet.de/panamarowdy/Freedom_of_the_Seas/Owner_s_Suite/Owner_s_Suite/owner_s_suite_8.html
FitzLA Posted April 26, 2006 #2 Share Posted April 26, 2006 Yes, this is the width of all the balconies on Freedom. I have been telling everyone all along that the balconies were twice the width and no one believed me. lol. Anyway, thanks for the pic. They are much nicer than voyager class. iluvcruzin Posted April 27, 2006 #4 Share Posted April 27, 2006 It looks about the same size as the Royal Suite on the Voyager Class.
fireguy091 Posted April 27, 2006 #5 Share Posted April 27, 2006 They might all be that deep but they shur as heck aren't all that wide,..

ravenone Posted April 27, 2006 #7 Share Posted April 27, 2006 The depth(side of ship to glass door for those "smart" people :) ) looks identical to the AOS balcony. If it was twice what the AOS was, then you would essentially have almost no room for legs if you sat in a chair(with the chair back against the door/glass wall). They maybe a sliver bigger, but not very much.

More, methinks, than a sliver larger. (for those smart people)

ravenone Posted April 28, 2006 #13 Share Posted April 28, 2006 Good pics. I stand corrected. I guess they are a lot larger(assuming non of the pics are of "special" balcony cabins(larger/smaller than normal)). My memory must be clouded. I will blame it on the drink of the day! Nanatravel Posted April 29, 2006 #16 Share Posted April 29, 2006 Faith, can you tell me how to open all of those photo's without the dutch/Norweign home page popping up? I don't understand that language and don't want to register for something that I don't know what it says. The few owners suite photos that I could see were great. Thanks, Nanatravel

BKITTY Posted May 11, 2006 #20 Share Posted May 11, 2006 Hi Silver Cloud, What aft cabin # is that? We booked 8712 and I'm wondering if it will be the same size. Thanks!
FitzLA Posted May 11, 2006 #21 Share Posted May 11, 2006 Actually, the aft balcony sizes vary from deck to deck. The higher you get, the smaller they get. BUT, they are still quite large. The one in the pic looks like a higher balcony by the lack of obstruction, and it is still quite large.
