Question about the casino....

What do we do in the casino? Can we take our SeaPass card to the cashier and get cash? Do we have to use our own Credit Card? Check? Do we need to bring our cash onboard? I know they have an ATM...but that is not going to be an option we would want to use. Anyone know?

You feed paper money into the slot machines. When you run out, you go to the cashier and give them your Seapass card. They will charge however much you want to your account, and give you your paper money. (My machines always seem to be greedy for my 20's.)

 

That's assuming that you will run out before winning.

You can charge up to $2000 per day to your Seapass card without a fee. It shows up as a regular purchase and does not get charged as a cash advance from your credit company.:)

We always bring cash for the casino, as I really don't want that extra charged to my card! I know I could keep the cash to pay off the card later, but I find I'm more likely to stop gambling when I'm losing (which, in the ship casino is most of the time--very tight!) as I see my $$$$ going away!

Does anyone know if the slots take quarters ? I have not gambled in a long time, but have heard of the ones that only take paper ... I have been saving rolls of quarters for our upcoming cruise. What a dummy!!!

The slots on Adventure took quarters. I did not have any luck in the casino but still enjoyed visiting a few nights! :)
