:) Hi, I know there were a bunch of CC'rs who went on Mercury's

April 28th last Mexican Riveria Cruise of the season. I believe

they arrive back home tomorrow.

Terri, Walter, Deb,....and the rest of ya'll....hope you had a great

time, the ship was in better shape and hoping one of you will

post a review when you have a chance.

I leave for Alaska on her May 19th and would love to hear

what you have to say...hoping the "No News Is Good News"

theory is true...since we have not heard anything from anyone

since your sailing left over a week ago.

Thanks:)

Lois: I was doing the same thing just before we went on Galaxy.

Looking for information about Norwalk or whatever striking the ship.

Although you have tapped into another way to find out anything.

Hopefully all is well - so to speak - and you have a great cruise.

Lois,

The Mercury is in great shape. The food is amazing and the staff equally amazing. Please go in and say hello to Delia for me. She is the captains club hostess and is great. Such a sweet person from Canada and very, very friendly. Mom and I got to dine with the staff captain the last formal night. Boom Boom makes the best Martini's. The food, and the service were top notch. What really made this cruise special though were the new friendships made with both cruise critics and my table mates. I am really depressed now to be home. Lois, and others we were on the ship in no time and there was very little sign of wear and tear. They were replacing carpets and certainly no bleach problems. You are going to have an amazing time!

Hi Lois - I'm back too! I got in too late to get on the boards last night. Walter's right, the ship looks great, they are changing carpets and putting in new mattresses in the cabins. Cruise was great, in large part due to the great group we had from Cruise Critic. My only complaint was noise in my cabin, I was underneath the edge of the Palms Springs Bar and could hear scraping and rolling noises a lot. I was in cabin 1135. I was aware it might be a problem and brought earplugs so it wasn't a big deal. I just wouldn't book that cabin again. Next time i'll make sure I'm inbetween two floors of cabins. I'm sure you'll have a great cruise. Say hello to Natalie and Delia for me.

Terri
