As I remember, which could be very faulty, it is pronounced "ku-sad-a-si"

I remember it as Crusdiva said it was pronounced. There is the sound of an H in there that isn't in the spelling. Also we were able to use Euros for cash but they were happy to take credit cards as well. The shopping is fun there and they have great things. We loved this port, it was the biggest surprise of our cruise. Sissy

It is pronounced koo-shaa-daa-sea. The "h" sound is in there because the turks appearantly have a special letter "s with a cadilla" to make the sound of "shh". Of course we probably can't type it since we don't have the turkish alphabet. At least that's how our tour guide explained it to us.

koo-shaa-daa-sea. Or it could be koosh-ah-daa-see, per my recollection.

 

This is kind of like how choir vocalists are taught to sing - the first pronunciation is "choir" where one puts the consonants on the start of the next syllable. The second is how "normal" people would say it.
