Water color question

Hello all,

 

I would like to know which beaches on these Island have blue/turquoise water (that you can see your toes :p ):

 

San Juan

St. Thomas

Tortola

 

I am leaving on 05/20/06 and being from NYC, I am really looking forward to being in clear clean water

On Tortola that would be pretty much any beach on the north shore. If you go to webshots.com and search under user name Pyrate13 I have photos there.

Compared to NY, probably most beaches. :D

 

But wind and waves can mess anything up.

We went to Coki Beach on St. Thomas....it's a small beach, but absolutely beautiful turquoise water and soft sand. Decent snorkeling off to the left hand side (as you are looking at the water). It seemed protected from wind and big waves. Beach chairs were available to rent. We drove past Sapphire Beach on St. Thomas and that also looked very nice....I think we will try that one next time we are in St. Thomas.
