Instant Email Notification - problem!

Anyone else having a problem not getting the instant email notification when a new post appears on a thread you've contributed to?

 

Once I type my message I click instant email notification below that before sumbitting. I've also gone to my user profile and edited so I'm listed as instant email notification. Still nothing!

 

I miss being alerted to new postings! Can anyone help????

This is a problem that they know about - there is a discussion about it on the help boards. For a quick way to check if there are any new posts to threads you are subscribed to - go to User CP and they come up there. Not a solution but it makes it easier than looking through the boards for your posts.

Have they given any idea of when this may be fixed?

I don't think there's any firm answer yet but if you follow this discussions here you'll get as much warning as all the rest of us.

 

Don't get too excited, though - if this vBulletin implementation is like others I use (and other boards with completely different software, too) we may only get one e-mail for the first new post on any subscribed thread, so you have to go to the board to read all the subsequent replies too.
