Duty free Shopping Question

Has anyone come across Creme De La Mer in their duty free shopping??

Michelle, I don't know about Creme de la Mer in duty free shops. I've never seen it but then again I haven't looked.

 

It is against community guidelines to bump up a post.

Yes.

 

I once purchased Creme de La Mer in a duty free shop. I don't remember how much less it was than in the dept store - I *think* about 20% less for the jar, but it also came with some bonus gifts of a few small travel jars of it and good sized samples of the serum.

 

I don't remember which airport I bought it in, but it's likely that it was in the US before boarding an international flight. Since La Mer is a US product, I wouldn't expect it to be cheaper overseas.

I think SFO international duty-free had some. Can't say if it was less expensive or not. If you have a birthday coming up, go register for a catalog at http://www.blissworld.com/ and they give you a discount on your birthday (Asking the mail order people to honor it if you fax your license might also be a way to get the discount).
