Orsino Posted June 6, 2006 #1 Share Posted June 6, 2006 We did the $29.00/pp culinary arts class last week on the Maasdam. It is offered only on the at sea day and the instructors told us that they stopped publishing its availability on the daily program because too many people were wanting to sign up and they had to turn people away. Angry passengers... you know the drill. Early cruises after the drydock had around 18 people in the classes, even though they are supposed to be limited to 12. Ours only had 8, thanks to the lack of advertising. So if you want to do the Culinary Arts class on the Maasdam, just go to the Front Desk ASAP and sign up. Don't expect any reminders from HAL. Rare Amber14 Posted June 6, 2006 #2 Share Posted June 6, 2006 Thanks for the great tip! In the class, do you actually participate or do you just watch?
Orsino Posted June 6, 2006 Author #3 Share Posted June 6, 2006 The class is hand on. The demo (which is a different day, free and not limited) is observation only.
Krazy Kruizers Posted June 6, 2006 #4 Share Posted June 6, 2006 Both on the Ryndam and the Amsterdam the classes were not advertised in the daily program. You either leanred about them on HAL web site or at the first free demo held the first sea day.
