savings cert.

Recommended Posts

I just received an e-mail from RCCL and said to go to site for June certificate and when i go to the page it says PAGE NO LONGER AVAILABLE.Anyone else having a problem?

You actually have to log in first.

It is quite possible (it seems) that the link they sent you in the email doesnt "automatically" recognize you as a particular C&A member.

(makes me wonder what kind of brilliant techs they hired to do the website!)

Go to RCCL dot com, log in, and surf to the savings certificates page to see the offers.

I also logged in and tried to go to site, no luck. I finally called C & A. The person I spoke with couldn't figure out why I was having a problem, go figure! Anyway, she was able to tell me what the specials were. I wish RCCL would make their site user friendly!

SO DID I !Thats is why i asked the question!

Well I just went to certificates after logging in at the RCI C & A's site, and saw that I had "June" coupons. Only problem is I don't see a dang bit of difference between them and April or May's certificates. Very few go into 2007 and they look like the exact same ones I have been looking at for the last two months! Change the dates the coupons are good for and state "we are still trying to fill the cruises that we can't fill otherwise". OK...I'm being tacky...but, what else is new.

I printed out my certificate today for the 1/6/2007 sailing on Voyager of the Seas. The certificate states to "reserve your cruise between 6/1/06 through 6/30/06." I booked this cruise last month in May. Will they still honor the discount certificate?

i didn't have any trouble and i thought there were quite a few new certificates.

packandgo. i don't think they will honor it, but if there was not a price increase and you're not set on a particular room, you could always cancel and rebook.

For those that still don't know, there is also a hard copy of the SC that you should receive in the mail. There are alot more sailings listed on the hard copy then those listed on the net. There is a rather lenghty thread already started about them. The link.....http://boards.cruisecritic.com/showthread.php?t=337478

If you have a sail date that is in Dec. 06 or Jan, Feb 07 then I can let you know whether there is a coupon for it.

I found a certificate for my Oct. cruise which also had to be booked 6/1-6/30. I booked my cruise in May. I received a fax back from the C & A Stating that the coupon was invalid because I didn't book between 6/1 -6/30.

The price for my room was the same, so I called C & A and they cancelled the original booking and rebooked the same cabin at the same price. I can now resubmit the coupon. Unfortunately the other party with us has found that their room has gone up $50 per person and their coupon is only worth $25.
