I will be comming into Skagway on a Sunday morning, itenary says 7:00 am, on the Carnival Spirit. I want to take the Chilkoot Charters & Tours "Yukon Bus & Rail Excursion" that leaves at 7:30 am. Can anyone tell me from past experience, does the Spirit really get into port around 6:00 am like the man at to tour company told me, and I would have plenty of time to make this tour? Is Skagway a tendor port? or dock?

By the way, has anyone done this tour? If so, how was it?

Thanks for your input,

Skagway is docking. Go with the vender's recommendation. If they say that the timing is OK with them, and your tour prefernce , then book it. Have a great time. :) This combo tour is excellent.

I booked an independent tour in Ketchikan for 7:00 a.m. and my ship arrives at 7:00. When making the reservations for the fishing charter, they requested all of my information including name of ship and time we arrived in port. We will be prepared to get off the ship time we arrive as we know they will be waiting on us.
