JerseyJim2 Posted June 29, 2004 #1 Share Posted June 29, 2004 I was wondering if the stateroom TV's on Carnival Miracle (or Spirit class ships in general) have audio/video jacks? Those are the yellow, red and white plugs that allow you to view video from a camcorder or portable DVD player. They are usually referred to as "line inputs", are often on the front of the monitor and can be source selected from the remote or a "TV/Video" button on the set. We will have both devices and it would be nice to view our vids on the bigger TV rather than the tiny screens built in to the gadgets. I am also assuming the television sets use the North American NTSC video standard. Does anyone know from experience if that is true? Thanks, Jim
rgalpaugh Posted June 29, 2004 #2 Share Posted June 29, 2004 They do have a/v jacks...in the front. Just make sure the cords are fairly long, as there isn't a convenient place to put the device you're attaching.

JerseyJim2 Posted June 29, 2004 Author #4 Share Posted June 29, 2004 Thanks for the reply. Having A/V jacks will make things much easier for us. Jim
loudbmw Posted June 30, 2004 #5 Share Posted June 30, 2004 All three Spirit class vessels we sailed have had A/V jacks. Strangly the brand new Royal Caribbean Mariner of the Seas did not. Lou
