Hotel/Airport Shuttles

I'm not aware of any free hotel shuttles, either, but if its just a question of not having to deal with a taxi to a hotel for the night before a cruise, note that there is the Best Western San Juan Airport Hotel right at the airport.

We've spent the night there connecting to St. Maarten, and it was fine. I've read that it has since undergone a major refurbishment, and is now a class act.

I will be on the AOS Feb 07 out of PR. I went to PR Hotels and it will give you a list of hotels and customer critiques. Very helpful. I have ruled out using the Caribe Hilton and a few other Hotels in the area. One guy said he believes the airconditioner was being run with a lawn mower engine. That is a feat of engineering.

I believe each hotel will specify if they do or do not offer shuttle service.

My recommendation is the Condado Plaza Hotel or if you really want to enjoy your precruise day try the Ritz Carlton.

Just my .02 worth of info.

good luck

cruise on....
