bride and groom Posted June 15, 2006 #1 Share Posted June 15, 2006 Here's a question - can someone explain the difference between a Junior Suite balcony vs. Grand Suite balcony? Do you still just get two chairs and table in the Junior Suite? How about the Grand Suite do you get lounge chairs or stair chairs? Photo links appreciated!! Thank you. DPurcell58 Posted June 15, 2006 #2 Share Posted June 15, 2006 Here's a link I found since we've booked a GS on the Explorer for Aug, 2007. The balcony on the GS seems to be twice the size of a JS balcony. http://public.fotki.com/rccldesign/voyager-class/cabins/b/ex/?cmd=slideShowFlash
sandees Posted June 15, 2006 #3 Share Posted June 15, 2006 JUst on the explorer in a GS-- the balcony is really large--it has a table and 2 chairs as well as a lounge chair-plus room to move around a little- from looking around I think it is actually twice the size of the JS....it was REALLY nice!!!!! cb at sea Posted June 15, 2006 #4 Share Posted June 15, 2006 Don't misunderstand--a balcony on a JS is no slouch!!! We had 2 chairs, a large table and a lounger on our last JS. Unless you plan on hosting a dance, I'm not sure why folks need 1/2 acre of balcony space while paying the price of a GS!
sandees Posted June 15, 2006 #5 Share Posted June 15, 2006 we had 6 in our party and the other 2 were in an interior room so spent most of their time in our GS and on our balcony---
