Who's the Captain on the Spirit

Anyone know who the Captain is on the Spirit?

Thanks Salty Dog, but wasn't Captain Stubing the previous captain? Still looking for the current Capt. of the Spirit.

In March it was Georgio Pagano; he just came aboard that prior week and was looking forward to the lst few Mexican Riviera cruises and then doing the summer in Alaska. I assume that means he is still aboard.

Thanks Cherylandtk, appreciate the response. My husband met a man at work yesterday and he said he was the Captain of the Spirit, since he was an American we kind of doubted it.

Yes it is Capt.Pagano. He is very proud of his ship and it's crew. We were very much delighted with the service we received from this crew.

 

The majority of the senior staff is mostly Italian.

Carnival ships all have two qualified Captains on board, the true Captain or Master, and the Staff Captain. Staff Captain's are waiting for that last promotion... but they are still considered Captains.

Yea, unless he was Italian...I would kinda doubt his claims.

 

We were on the Spirit in July (Alaska) and I can not remember the Captain's name...but I do know that he was Italian and he did a wonderful job getting us right up next to that glacier for over an hour. It was great!!!
