Alaskan Excursions

Welcome to the HAL board; I see this is your first post. You'll find it can be a pleasant place to hang out. The natives are friendly. :)

As to what to do in Alaska---it would help if we knew which ports you're stopping at, and a bit about your interests.

There are things ranging from strenuous, outdoorsy-type activities, to bus tours that take little to no effort. Do you like cultural things like museums? Or hikes in the woods?

Or do you plan to shop?

Give us a hint and we'll point you in the right direction.

I got back from the Westerdam a week ago and posted my review today. We only did two shore excursions, one from HAL and one independent -- they are described in my review if that is of any help. You can also troll for excursions on the Ports of Call Board: Alaska -- lots of info there also.

Have a great time in Alaska -- it is definitely God's country.
