New/Flipped AoS Itinerary

Recommended Posts

Has anyone been on the AoS since they flipped the itinerary around having the sea day first and STT last? (This is the STT, SXM, St Lucia, Barbados, Antigua route.) Will we be sailing by the Pitons in St Lucia in the morning since we will be approaching from the south? Does this also mean we will not be sailing by the volcano in the evening? Can anyone give me details on how this flipped itinerary has changed the cruise?

Thanks.

IMHO, it's a very good thing they flipped it. Having STT as the last stop means immigrations can be done there while on the ship (that's a breeze!). We were on the Aruba itinerary and it took forever for the St. Lucia folks to clear immigrations in SJU. They didn't clear until nearly 1300, delaying our embarkation and their disembarkation.

Enjoy your cruise!

We had a similar experience on the June 18th Aruba itinerary as we were not allowed to board until 1:30. We were off the ship on June 25th in the 2nd from last group called by 11:30.

That may be why they've done it, clearing immigration and customs in SJU seemed to be very time consuming, St T is a lot easier
