Has anyone ever stayed at the Newport Beachside Hotel & Resort or the Days Inn, both are on Collins Avenue, Miami.

Looking for hotel for beginning of December (1 night) and having a major problem finding one as everything is booked.

Is this the Days Inn on the corner of 21st and Collins Avenue in South Beach? If so, it is a dismal hotel but I have stayed there and would stay there again for the right price. Don't expect much and you'll be fine.

Which night are you looking for? I just checked Hotwire for Friday 12/1 and they have the Hyatt DT for $94.

Sorry, just realized the Days Inn on Collins is Miami Beach not South Beach.

 

My parents love the Newport Beach Hotel & Resort but I it is all the way up past Bal Harbor in Sunny Isles. Love the location.

Thanks for all your help. Booked the Newport Beach Hotel & Resort. It looks very nice but unfortunately you never know until you get there. It was a last minute decision to go on a cruise, ship leaving Dec. 3, and had a hard time finding a hotel that had vacancy. The other problem was 5 people. So many of the hotels will only have 4 people to a room with the fire laws.

Aha! That weekend is Art Basel which is HUGE. It is an international art show that attracts people from all over the world. Have fun and try to see a show or two in South Beach!
