Splendour OTS or Rhapsody??

we need some advice....have to decide between Splendour and Rhapsody this week, for sailing from Galveston early this December

 

Has anyone been on either or both? We are most concerned about the handicapped junior suites and oceanview staterooms setup....access to public areas of the ship, etc

We have been on the Splendour twice, both times in oceanview cabins. The cabins were spacious and L shaped resulting in sitting and sleeping areas. They also had a upper bed which was great since we usually travel with our duaghter and most HC cabins do not sleep 3. The bathroom was usable, but not as large or as well equipped as on newer ships. In general the access around the ship was acceptable, but again not as good as on most newer ships.
