Does anyone know which location is the closest to the port in Aarhus. HErtz lists the foloowing locations:

 

Kolind-Tirstrup Airport

Chr. X's Vej

Grenaavej

You might want to post this message in the "Baltic Ports" section of Cruise Critic. This airport is in Denmark which most of us consider Baltic instead of Europe. Confusing, no?

The Tirstrup/Århus Airport is 40 KM out of the city so thats far away.

 

The 2 other adresses is north and south of the city (10 KM)

 

I have a list of others closer to the port here

 

Europcar, Fredensgade 17 8000 Århus C (1 KM to the port)

 

Avis/Hydro Texaco, Spanien 63 8000 Århus C (right next to the port)

 

Avis, Jens Baggesensvej 27 8200 Århus N (4-5 KM northwest of the port)

I grew up in that area and I frequently go back over and visit.

As far as I know www.danskautorent.com offer the best prices in Denmark. (I'm not affiliated in any way)

They seems to be very flexible, and when I have arrived in airports they'll be waiting for me holding a sign with my name and show me out to my car.

I can't see why they wouldn't do the same at the Aarhus port also.

There might be a small additional fee, but they will most likely still have the best price.

 

If you for some reason need to stay with Hertz, Chr. X's Vej and Grenaavej will be the closest locations of the ones you mentioned.

Grenaavej is a street starting about 1 mile from the port and it's probably about 30 miles long, but assuming that it's a Aarhus Hertz office it will most likely be the closest location.
