spav01 Posted July 11, 2006 #1 Share Posted July 11, 2006 Hello HAL fans. A long time lurker here. I'm going on my 3rd HAL cruise in 2007 and have booked a Category I Inside cabin, Navigation Deck on the beautiful Westerdam. Has anyone sailed in one of these cabins? I know there are very few, and just wanted to get your impression of it. Yes, I know I'll miss the Veranda (had those on the Zuiderdam and Oosterdam), but the deal was good and I am certain my insomnia will thank me. Thanks in advance for your help! Atomica Posted July 11, 2006 #2 Share Posted July 11, 2006 I haven't sailed in an 'I' cabin, but I was in an 'M' on the Oosterdam last year. Very nicely laid out cabin. Basically the same amenties as an outside cabin, just on a smaller scale. My only complaint is that I seemed to continually smack into the little side table every time I came into my cabin. Still, for the amenties that you get, it's tough to beat the value of an inside.
