Druke I Posted July 3, 2004 #12 Share Posted July 3, 2004 Yes - safe and sane 4th to all. Meyerhaus -reference Gordon Lightfoot. I picked up a CD of his the other day, which includes an old favorite of mine - The Last Farewell. It was the theme music for a wonderful video of the old P&O (and Orient line also) ships prior to World War2, and their trooper duties during the war. Princess was showing that video several years ago on their in-cabin TV, when we did New Zealand/Australia on the old Pacific Princess. I've been trying ever since to locate a copy of that documentary -very well done.

Kellyann Posted July 4, 2004 #19 Share Posted July 4, 2004 Thank you so much for the well wishers from our friends in other lands. When you read the news and listen to the TV, one begins to think that the entire world hates Americans. It's nice to know that not everyone feels that way. God bless America! God protect the men and women from every country that are trying to keep peace! Kellyann
