Have you heard of a pouch for carrying $$$ that you carry under your clothing?

they make both, you can find them in the travel accessories section of a lot of department stores. I didn't like the idea of having something around my waist (I'm a little too fluffy already), so I opted for one that hangs around my neck. It's made of cotton, so it breathes against my skin. It's a bit of a pain in the butt to haul it out from under my shirt whenever I need my cash, but it beats losing it all to a pickpocket or purse snatcher! I only used it in port, of course; on ship, all I needed was my SeaPass.

On your computer, do a search for "money belt". leave the quotation marks around the words. You will get a number of hits.

I wouldn't travel without one and Target has a great, comfortable money holder for under ten bucks. You cannot hardly feel it on and it holds money, passports and my sail and sign cards. It is in their luggage section and it tan in color. Have a great cruise!

I agree: better safe than sorry. I have travelled all over Europe and the Caribbean and always take mine. I do not remember where I got it, I have had it so long, but I have seen them in many places - posters above have a variety of sources. Yes, they can be uncomfortable and sweaty if in a warm climate, but well worth the peace of mind.
