Buying ciggs on board?

My boyfriend smokes and is going to be buying ciggs on board the Mariner. Anyone know when the duty free store opens? Anyone know how much a carton is on board? I know smoking is gross, blah, blah, blah but he is asking me the question so if anyone knows the answer I would appreciate it. thanks.

Unless he's willing to smoke any old kind, he should consider bringing his preferred brand with him. I noticed that the selection was pretty sparse, as to brands they had for sale!

If you are going to the Caribbean, wait until your first port to buy your cigarrettes. On board shops don't carry many brands, but I know that they have Marlboro's and Newports, Benson and Hedges, and they run about 35 for two cartons, I think.

The best deal onboard was the Marloboro 5 carton packs... If I am not mistaking it was $79 which made them about $15 per carton.

 

Depending on the islands that you visit, I know they have Marlboro in St. Marteen for about $10 a carton.
