Sled dog camps in September

This is a follow-up to a question I asked earlier. I'm cruising in September, and know that I won't be able to do the dog sledding (at least on ice), and I don't want to do the wheeled sledding. Are there any places to meet the dogs and puppies, and learn about sledding without actually going on a ride? Please let me know if you know of any, and especially if you have experienced it yourself. Thanks!

Are you going interior Alaska, plenty of kennels allow visitors, and Denali Park offers a great option with free sled dog demos and plenty of time with the dogs.
