Buying cigarettes on Victory

What ever you do, dont buy them in Halifax, I heard from another thread that the cigs are 10.00 a pack there and gasoline is 5.00per gallon

FYI, if you smoke Parliment buy them in the US & enough for the entire trip. They do not sell them on board nor anywhere in Halifax (and my wife & I looked hard). They seem to have most other popular brands though :)

Always much less. However - not all brands available. If you smoke a brand that's not among the most common like Marlboro and a few others, you might should bring your own. I've never seen my brand on any ship or port.:(

Back in March on the Victory they were selling Marlboro cigs 5 cartons for $79.95. Winston, Kool, Camel, Salem, 2 for $36.95.

 

Also fyi Absolut Vodka 1 liter 2 for $21.95, Bacardi Rum 3 for $28.95.

Go to UserCP, and on the left side you will see a link that says: Edit Signature. Click on that, and you can put any text you want repeated in there (like all the junk I have ;))

Thanks for the info. How many cartons are you legally allowed to bring back? Most of the cruises sold Benson & Hedges Ultra Lights. Not my brand, but close enough.

I dont smoke, but I do bring them back for my son, if the price is right. Anyone know about Newports in the box? Seems like its a normal enough brand. And, True blue? they still have those?
