Tequila Tour?

Has anyone done the Tequila Tour? There was an article about doing it on your own in Wilma's Conscience's newsletter a few months ago. He reported that you could show up anytime during open hours and take the tour on your own. I belive the price was $10 and you get 2 drinks as well as the tour. Anyone know the cost of a taxi to the location?

We did the tour in May. Sorry, I don't know the taxi fare as we had a taxi for the day. The tour is interesting and the guide is funny. You are allowed to sample all of their different flavored tequilas. I am glad I did the tour but it is not something I would do a second time.

Do they have a shop there, too? How are the prices for tequillas & do they have something there that is not in town????

Yes, they have a shop there. I don't remember the prices but they weren't real high. I bought a couple of small bottles for friends. I did later see one of the flavors in town but not all of them.
