Celebrity questions?

I'm currently in the planning stages of my next vacation and am considering Celebrity cruiselines. I'm considering either the Century 7 day eastern cruise or Millenium 7 day eastern. My concerns are the number of pools onboard and is it hard to get a chair on the "at sea days?" Im also curious about the casino size on these ships? If anyone has anyone feedback regarding Celebrity at all please feel free to share with me. Thank you, Greg

Hi Greg:) ...there is a big thread about the Century on here..."Tell me more about Century" if you want to read a bit about her. She is a fabulous ship. I have sailed her twice and will probably be going again in 2005.

There is one pool located outside, forward. I am not one to "lay out" so the availability of lounge chairs has never been an issue for me. There are 2 decks though and if you don't have to be "on top of the pool" there are usually plenty of chairs upstairs.

I am happy at a bar stool up at the MastBar (poolside bar upstairs).

Casino...what type of size are you asking about? They have blackjack tables, craps, slots....it was fine to me.

I cannot help you with the Millennium as I have not sailed her (yet).

But I can tell you the CENTURY is my favorite ship...she is very special and I can't wait to sail her again:)

Greg,

I like to be right by the pool and I never had a problem on the Century with getting a chair. I was usually out there by 9 on sea days. Great ship, fantastic food, good service. Haven't been on the Millie so can't advise that one, but I did like Century enough to go again.

Greg, Celebrity is a fine cruiseline....you will not be disappointed!

In reference to an itinerary, my recommendation is that you do not choose one that has less than 3 sea days. Sea days are for relaxing....staying up late....sleeping in....not thinking about a schedule too much.

A four port itinerary on a 7 night cruise is a little too busy for my family.

Just my thoughts.

They are both wonderful ships, love Century, because she was my "first", love Millie as she has so much to offer. Millie has two pools the regular and also the aquaspa(which is like an indoor pool, she also has the best specialty restaurant on the seas -the Olympia.............what ports and how many sea days does each offer.
